Question:

How mad are people in the rest of the world about Phelp's rigged victory?

How can the world not be mad when Phelps has a contract with Omega Watches(the makers of the touchpads), and the fact that live video as well as high speed photography seen by objective viewers(not paid olympic officials) proves that Phelps lost?

Finally, there's UNDENIABLE PROOF that Phelps LOST. This photo was in the New York Times.

Cavic beat him period. In the bottom frame, Cavic is either touching the wall, or is 1 milimeter away from touching it. Phelps is a good 1/2 foot from the wall.

Look at how much difference there is between Phelps middle fingers and the edge of the water? Now look at how there's not even 1mm of space between Cavic's middle figners and the edge of the water.

  1. If you watched the Olympics at all you would know that the case was settled because Phelps OUTTOUCHED Cavic. Watch the race, it clearly shows it. The exact same thing happened in Athens 4 years ago when Phepls out-touched Ian Crocker in the same event, by .04 seconds. And in swimming out-touching is the same thing as touching first. On Sports Illustrated's website they have a frame by frame finish that clearly shows he WON!

So stop being so bitter and GET OVER IT. He won FAIR and SQUARE. And I'm pretty sure FINA (you do know what that is don't you??) has a little more experience in handeling cases like this much more than you do.

  2. Ohhhhh get over it.  Phelps won without a doubt.

  3. you dumbasss i hate people like you !

  4. phelps has longer arms, and for two its an under water shot so they cant be in there if there not paid olympic officials and stuff. i dont know what your hating on phelps you dumbass he is amazing.

  5. You're so bitter! What a dumbass, it wasn't rigged. Phelps' right hand touched before Cavic's did.

And, I like how you didn't include the shot of Phelps touching.

  6. These are "still" photos, and are not proof of anything.

If the second photo were live video, you would see that Phelps

hammered his arms into the wall because of an extra stroke,

while Cavic had been coasting and gliding like a car that had run out of gas.  If Cavic would have taken another stroke, he probably would

    have won.

Ok Einstein, here's something else for you.  Look at all the

bubbles surrounding Phelp's feet in both photos.  Now, look at

Cavic's feet.  Not many bubbles are there?  Cavic quit kicking

also. Phelps poured it on, all the way to the wall, with an extra

power stroke and constant kicking.  That why and how he won.

Cavic lost because he shut it down too early, and misjudged

his remaining distance to the wall and misjudged the time

it would take to glide into the wall.

    Case closed.

  7. I agree, you are bitter. It wasn't rigged! Yeah, it was a crazy finish, but it wasn't anything that was set up ahead of time or overlooked in the end. Let it go.

  8. I'm not here because I have anything constructive to say.  Because frankly I don't care so much.

I'm just enjoying the hypocrisy of it all.

"OMG CHINA CHEATED" turns to "OMG YALL ARE JUST BITTER HATERS" when the doubt is cast on their own country.

  9. All thes ppl believe in Phelps as if they were there under the water watching this thing happen. Phelps*&*&*&#))(#*$)(#*$)(*$)@($*)(*$@)(

I can't believe they let politic affect such a beautiful event like Olympics.O well, Phelps has to live with the fact that he did not win for the rest of his life thanks to his sponsor OMEGA

  10. I had not seen any pictures until now and was suspect of it from watching the race and seeing the above water shot only.  You have no put no doubt in my mind that Phelps won.  The first photo shows Cavic gliding into the wall and Phelps about to touch on a stroke.  I know which one is quicker.  The second photo shows Phelps already touching the wall with his right hand and Cavic about to touch with his left hand.  Thanks for clearing that up for me.

  11. I think Phelps won it. In the 2nd frame, his right hand's fingers are bent upward. If you push your fingers on a wall, they bend up "unnaturally" (since, obviously fingers don't bend backwards). What I see is Michael's right hand touching the wall while Cavic is a unbelievably close to the wall, but not quite there.

In any case, it may be too late to argue it anyway.

  12. Why are you in denial? It was clearly shown on NBC world news showing images stills from the pool bottom camera that his hand touched the wall just before Cavic's. The last photo is missing, that's where Cavic comes close, but there's the last image where Phelps touches the wall! Phelps won, GODDAMNIT!!! Don't ever speak of this nonsense again!

  13. i see no reason to believe that those pictures are even the end of the race, it's just a photobucket file. it could be any time in the pool, the end of a length before turning, or whatever.
