How man people worked on the construction of the Louvre in Paris, France?

I am sorry but it might be very hard to answer this question. The construction lasted about 1000 years.

Impossible to know haw many worked or died there

Building started in the 13th century and continued until the 17th.  In the 18th century renovation work began to turn the Palace into the museum and art gallery that we know today.

Doubt if there are any records on the number of workers over that period of time!
