  1. 15 gal = 15 x 128 oz = 1920 oz

So it would be 1920/12 = 160 cans

However, I think most US kegs are actually 15.5 gal, so the caclulation would be

    15.5 x 128 /12 = 165.33 cans

  2. One keg is equivalent to:

    1/2 barrel = 15.5 gal = 1984 oz = approx. 165 12oz beers

  3. Drink the keg, then ask yourself if this question was really nessicary.

  4. 160

  5. OK everyone so far has been both right and wrong. There are no 15 gallon kegs. 15.5 is the standard (except for European).

15.5 gallons should equal about 165 12oz beers

    BUT

The first few beers you pour will most likely be foamed as will the last few so 160 is a more realistic number.

  6. "Drink the keg, then ask yourself if this question was really nessicary" <--- I love that answer.

And yeah, 160 is your answer.

Just search "15 gallons = ? oz" on Google, and your result will be 1,920. Divide that by 12, you get 160.

Sorry for everyone who said "165", you're wrong. x]

  7. 160

1 US gallon = 128 US fluid ounces

  8. 165 there are 15.5 gallons in a keg not 15
