How many 12x8x12 Dek Blocks will I need to make a 12x12 deck?

Are you using the blocks for the entire floor or only for support of wood framing?

If for floor, use 1 5/8x 12x12 blocks or at the most 4x12x12 and this would require 144 blocks to have a solid floor.

AS few as two for the outside corners if the inside rim joist is attached to you house. You will have to use 2x12 for framing members with a double on the outside. Good Luck
