How many 25 and older go through Basic Training?

I'm 29 (turning 30 in Sept) to go through Basic at Fort Jackson this month...just wondering what are the chances of having anyone else my age there.

I was 28 whent I went through Basic at Ft Jackson. There wasn't too many of us older soldiers - I think my platoon had five of us. But it is not too bad. You will have more experience and self control than some of theyoungerer soldiers.

When I went through Basic Training, there was a 36 and 39 year old in my platoon. Considering the Army raised the enlistment age to 42, I'm sure there will be plenty of people your age. But don't be alarmed, there is an outstanding number of young adults (17-24).

Plenty of people your age, especially after the summer high school graduates graduate from basic.
