  1. Gosh that is a tough question to answer. I have around 50 friends on my list and if 15 of them read my blogs  I consider it a lot.

Some people will read your blog but not comment on it too. So unless you get a counter from another site.. you really don't know how many people read your blog..

But the amount of friends you have does not relate to the amount of comments you will receive in the slightest!

  2. about 50 to 100

  3. I'd consider myself a nobody if I was getting less than 10,000 hits a day.

  4. An answer here would totally be subjective. It depends on the purpose of your blog. It depends on the popularity of your blog service. If you have a target number per day, then that would be considered "good". Otherwise, I think the number is entirely arbitrary. So, I would just say, "as many as possible".

Also, hits a day has only limited affect in terms of visitor statistics. Deeper questions to consider: Are people returning to read the blog (i.e. do you have return readership or are they visiting only one time)? Which pages most interest readers? How many of these hits are "unique" hits (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/geociti... )?

Lastly, if you are using 360 and are depending on those page view stats, they aren't entirely reliable. Plus you are only getting page views/hits, which as I've mentioned are a very limited view of what's going on with visitors.
