How many 42 cent stamps do i need to send a note to someone who lives in Australia?

I am trying to send a note to someone i know in Australia but i have no idea how many 42 cent stamps i need to put on the envelope. Please answer if you know.

I called the post office where I live. They asked me what type of package I was sending then looked up the postage for me. Was as simple as that. =]

When you send letters to a foreign country you go to the post office and hand them the letter and ask them to send it to australia. its simple. trust me i send letters to my grandparents in australia every month. the post office deals with it.

2 oz   - $1.74

3 oz   - $2.54

3.5oz - $3.34 (must be placed in a large envelope after 3.5 oz)

4 oz   - $3.60

Just keep adding 80 cents after every ounce
