How many AP classes?

Question

How many are you taking or are going to take this year?

Im worried that i am taking too many. I really want to go to a UC university [i live in CA]. I like being challenged, but i feel like i bit off more then i can chew. [school starts in a week and im gonna be a junior]

i signed up for the following:

*AP enviromental science

*AP english

*AP us history

*AP spanish 4 [im not worried about this class, its actually easy cause i speak spanish]

*regular pre- calculus

*photography

The only class that i know i will have FOR SURE is AP us history. i was enrolled in the class, and i had to do a summer assignment.

Do you think it's too many AP courses for one year?

WOW are you sure you can handle it?. i'm taking AP english and will change from regular spanish to AP spanish and hopefully if they have AP french, yeah cause french i'm gonna nail it since i'm from there.but i'm taking the rest honor except for  us history. but i think you should not freak out. sit and think, will you be able to handle them all, don't forget about the daily reading and essays and the other homework. if you think you can then go for it and stop stressing. so like that you'll do good. do what you think is best not what others tell, cause you only know what you are capable of :). yeah and i'm a junior too and i started today

Well, I say start out with the schedule you have and go from there. If you find the course load to be too much, try dropping a class. I'll be a junior in a couple of weeks as well, but I only have three APs and the rest are honors classes.

Remember SATs/ACTs, too. =/ Hah. Good luck!
