  1. I have only lost track of house payments.

  2. very few.  and no, i don't think remembering how many condos your wife has purchased has anything to do with being in touch with the common man.

I am way more concerned about someone saying "I am the one the world has been waiting for."   How on earth can anyone who says that not think he is so far above the common man?

  3. It does not really matter. I have 4, does that make me out of touch?

  4. Not I. Nor do I forget what kind of car I drive. I can even tell you the mileage...that's how middle american I am.

I DO NOT BELIEVE his excuse for this major flub..I was a POW and therefore I am exempt. What a CROCK!!

  5. Those houses are his wife's. Furthermore, Cindy McCain's companies employ thousands of people. Her success is our success.

  6. I would say a very tiny minority. h**l, even most rich people who own several homes are able to keep up with the number! And for that matter, I don't think ANY politicians are in touch with the common folks, because the common folks usually aren't the ones who can afford to run for public office!

  7. I'll have a staff member get back to you with an answer....

  8. I would guess, if you're an American, that you were born with the same freedom that John McCain was born with.  Among those freedoms is the ability to earn as much money as you can and amass all the real estate that you can afford.  Now, I'm not saying that the majority of Americans have this "problem" ( I know I don't), but I've had the opportunity to work to achieve what I want, just like McCain, just like you, just like every American.  It's no crime to work and become rich, but it should be a crime to do nothing and expect more.

  9. Thousands of landlords across this great land. How many people buy mansion from a convicted criminal? (Obama-Rezko).

  10.   I don't know, the pressure of this campaign is simply overwhelming, McCain can't recall his real estate holdings and Obama's youngest daughter has to remind him of what city he's currently speaking from, I'm referring to last night after Michelle Obama's speech when Barack first said he was in St.Louis then a few seconds later Kansas City?   So, the score is even...

  11. They have an elderly aunt living in one of them, rent-free. I've heard they have other relatives in some of the other ones to help them out. Kind of different from Barak's half-siblings living on $1.00 a month over in Africa...

  12. From what I recall, he has a prenup with his wife and she owns most of them. Being old, he may have been confused by the question. Was the reporter asking how many houses he had or how many he and his wife had?

Still, it was stupid not to know the answer. Reminds me of Bush not paying attention to intelligence reports before 9/11.

  13. (raising my hand) i dont know how many i own either..

  14. How many Americans, apart from Barrack Obama, hang out with criminals, (Rezko), racists, (Wright), and terrorists, (Ayers).  Really now- can he be in touch with the common woman and man?  I actually feel a little sorry for you that all youv'e got is the number of homes McCain has.

  15. About as many as dumbasses who post 'house'questions.

  16. considering all but three are owned by his wives corporations and not McCain himself I do not find it shocking at all

Why do you democrats hate successful people so much?

Or is it you just hate successful republicans?

You hypocrites sure had no problem with the much richer Kerrys four years ago.

  17. They belong to his wife. Do you really know all the things a wife owns!

  18. Like Obama is in touch with common people...LOL

  19. Kerry, Kennedy, Trump........

  20. I think anyone who buys and sells homes as investment properties would have to look up the numbers at any given time to be certain.  McCain's properties weren't houses in the primary residence sense but rather an investment that would hopefully appreciate in value more than another investment.  Do a lot of people reach a level of wealth that allows them to play the real estate market that heavily?  No.  But, given the last 6 years or so, I don't know ANYBODY who had any money to invest that wasn't involved in some way, shape, or form with the real estate market.  It's like buying stocks, just a slightly larger buyin price.
