  1. There's all the difference in the world between being anti-immigrant and anti-illegal-immigrant, though the media tends to not play it that way.  I am sure most people, being anti-racist, have no problem with legal immigration.

  2. I agree with thyfzyer! your first answer, when its too late, its too late, Wake up Americans, before you become responsible for ruining this nation!!!! the demo tax structure is enough to make anyone vote republican, I hope all you demos are taking a real hard look at the demo's and what they are doing, Nancy pelosi, she is a good example of whats to come, she can't even help her fellow Americans with the gas prices, what dose that tell ya!!!! about the demo party

THINK REAL HARD before voting in the demo party!!! its your future, and ya better protect it, RIGHT NOW!!!!

  3. Frist as far as the EU, Ireland has rejected the Lisbon Teaty. As far as anti-immigration people are that way and for a reason.  With Clinton almost tripling legal immigration to 2.5 million a year and then Bush cut it back to 1.25 million a year and as of March cut it back to 1 million we now have over 30 million new legal Americans.

Add to that the 3 million out of nine million that jump the visas we give them each year*, then the ones who come here under the "favored nation status" (26 countries) and then throw in the 4-6 million lthat cross our southern border* and you have a ton of people who shouldn't be here.  So all immigration should stop until they get a handle on this.

As far as Europe it might surprise you to know that tiny Ireland may stop the whole thing.  They are being congratulated as the only group of people who actually read the document and at present are not going along with it.  The Italians are also reluctant and mad about the interest rates that are causing inflation and the Germans were polled and aobut 52% say no.  There are also some of the other small countries that are not in favor, but according to the article due to their location pressure can be asserted on them.

The Irish rejected the Lisbon Teaty, "which is a papered over version of the already rejected constituation, since the actual contents are about 98 percent the same."*  The convenient change from 'constitution' to "treaty" provided the excuse the EU member nations needed to avoid referendums.  The EU started out as an economic system. and "key elements of the Lisbon Treaty would be dangerous to the sovereignty of individual nations."*  "Much national sovereignty has been lose already".  The Irish are the only ones who have democratically  held a referendum.  They will be pressured and state that other countries are ignorant of what it contains.  Pray the other countries wise up or their people.

At this time with the country adjusting to the increased new Americans, plus all the illegal activity, the country is just overburdened and needs a break.  Law enforcement sure would not mind it as they have their hands full.  Another thing you might want to consider is that about 17% of those caught on the southern border are from terror sponsoring nations.

So the country needs a break from being politically correct.  I bet the people who have relatives overseas would raise so much cain the Congress would do something for a change.  Take care.

  4. It's time to stop it all until we can get a handle on it.

ARE ANY OBLIVIOUS AMERICANS PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT'S HAPPENING IN EUROPE?

No, I didn't think so.  Just wait until it's too late to do anything.

  5. Unfortunately, most people in the USA are not watching news abroad and few US news agencies are reporting the facts of legal immigration. How many Americans are even aware that there are places in France, Germany, Great Britain, and Denmark where government authorities dare not go without sending armor to back up platoon sized military units?

I am anti-illegal immigration. I am still not anti-immigration as long as those who are allowed to immigrate are well educated individuals and families who possess skills the USA needs. I also think that we should also cherry pick them from cultures that have integrated with the US's successfully in the past. Third world tribal cultures need not apply.

  6. I have never run into any American citizen who is "anti-immigrant" although practically everyone I know is strenuously opposed to immigration-law violations and immigration-law violators.

And I have to say most of the people I encounter want immigration and all other visa categories (except tourist/business visas) seriously reduced, even a moratorium for 5 years, until all immigration-law violators depart or are deported, and all current legal immigrants assimilate.  Too many people too fast and it wreaks havoc with society, the economy, infrastructure, etc.

But Americans recognize our relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers & ourselves are descendants of immigrants or immigrants, and we are for the most part proud of what our ancestors achieved in creating a country from people of many different backgrounds but common beliefs, principles and ideals.  And America can only stand as long as its people hold those principles and ideals sacred.  Those who come here without that common cause can tear the fragile fabric of this nation apart and destroy everything we fought and worked for over nearly 4 centuries.

  7. Not many but most are anti illegal alien.

  8. Actually, all due respect the concept of immigration and those that come as they do, they USA cannot absorb so many people at one time, without collapsing.

This collapse may not be in total but it may very well be in qualitative terms enough to bring the country to it's knees and to appear nearly a 3rd world country. Broke and with too many mouths to feed, insufficient jobs, poverty, crime and possibly disease beyond the ability to cure or handle, water, fuel, food, housing shortages that lead to nearly a total collapse. Possibly ending in anarchy and uprisings in the streets.

Tri Lateral Commission supposedly wants a new world order that has the US, Canada and Mexico united. This would appear to be to the detriment of those doing better in that mix and it would likely enslave millions and keep them as paupers.

If current legal immigration rates are not lessened, there will be 4 times as many people in the US as currently. All of the new people will be immigrants. Add illegals to that. Now we legally admit roughly 50% Mexicanos. About equal amount (1 million annually) illegals, 8 of 10 of which are Mexicanos enter the US yearly. Roughly 2 million people a year come in. In the early 60's, about 300K people came in yearly. That worked and was a moderate growth.

I would like to see immigration severly limited for a while. I also am concerned that no one in the world on the political stage is willing to deal with the concept of too many people.

Global Warming and the rest is changing our lives. I believe the excess of people and their needs, is crippling the world.

Balance in all things makes much more sense to me.

The USA cannot take in ALL the poverty stricken people in the world, nor can all of the European countries. Human population must be limited somehow ...we are literally s******g ourselves to death.

  9. very few!

most of us are anti-illegal. there is a HUGE difference

the group I have a problem with are ones like LaRaza since they are anti-American

  10. I've live all over the U.S. and only met one person like that, I guess there a few but thank god I don't have to deal with them.

  11. Well, allow me to play Devil's Advocate for a few seconds.  Mind you, this is not necessarily the way I feel or think.

You claim that the powers that be are attempting to take countries' identities away from them.

Well, look at what having individual identities have done over the course of human history.

For as long as Man has been on the planet, He has separated himself from others by means of skin color, language, customs, legislation, religion, etc.

This separation has done nothing more than to compel peoples to battle against each other.  Endless wars.

  12. I don't have any problem with the one's who play by the rules.  Immigrants are a great addition to any nation.  It is the one's who lie and cheat their way through the system and then expect something for nothing that I have a problem with.

  13. Very very few.

But 78% are anti illegals.  Huge huge difference.

  14. I am not anti immigrant but I am anti illegal. People everywhere are scared anymore. Terrorists are sneaking in illegally and coming in legally on visa's etc...! I agree that we need to put a stop to all immigration until we can get a better way for all.

  15. You know darlin not too many people are against immigration, myself for one. But I caution people daily to watch the groups they become involved with. Some groups look innocent whilst hiding a darker more sinister agenda. The article you provided gives a clue to how certain organizations suck unsuspecting concerned individuals into the mire. They prey on your patriotism and use confusing language. I don't hold illegals in the highest regard but h**l darlin we can't shut America off from any immigrants at all. Don't let sweet talk and platitudes get in the way of common sense.

  16. Bingo!

    There's a major dif between:

    "CAR" and "FATAL CAR WRECK".

    "Withdrawal" and "undocumented vault raid"

"Coroner" and "Yeah, I think he was dead when I found him"

    Etc...

    etc...

    ...

  17. I agree with the first answer.  With all the terrorism it is time to shut off immigration for now and start with sending illegals back.
