  1. Very few.  But I actually fear for the attack on freedom from within our country, not from outside our country.  When one party tries to legislate morality and force people to live under those rules, we lose great amounts of freedom.  When one party tries to control what individuals decide to do that impacts nobody else, we lose great amounts of freedom.

Wrapping yourself in the American flag does not make yourself a great American.  Often, it is nothing more than a disguise for nationalism that nears facism.  We can love America and it's freedoms without forcing everyone into lockstep agreement.

  2. I truly do appreciate it but I see it slipping away now without a fight and without an option to stop it.   Our own government is throwing  it out with the bathwater.

  3. Most

  4. sure..our heroes come from WW1 and WW2 but after that there are no heroes...the USA has gone into regime change..we all know fron Viet Nam to the present war it has been wasted lives and it was only for self interests.

If your ex military then you are oblivious of the new attitude of this country.  Our borders are open and education has become a joke today where 50% graduate.

Which makes mccain no hero as we kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people.  We have rid us of habeus corpus.  We are hated around the world where Bush is compared to Hitler. We have given nthe wealthiest tax breaks during war time.  Everything is wrong with this country.

Wake up..84% says we are on the wrong track...mccain is much of a hero as Tony Snow is....George Carlin and Mohammed Ali are the heroes

  5. The greatest American I know is my minister who came from England.  He was a little boy in WWII and remebers the Americans coming to his town.  He says to this day that without the Americans, Brits wouldnt have stood a chance against the n***s and is deeply grateful to this day.  He became an American citizen and is heartbroken at how we take our freedoms and opportunities for granted.

I think it is hard to understand how well we live when we know nothing else.

  6. More than the press would have us think. When the public address system at a recent motor sports event I attended went silent during the National Anthem, I was moved by the crowd, who raised their voices high and continued the song until its end. That is the America that the press doesn't cover, and it is not confined to motor sport events. I suspect similar would have occurred in most venues where Americans gather, short of colleges and universities, where such patriotism is frowned upon.

  7. I for one do.  And proud to be an American.

  8. As a combat veteran I know first hand what it takes to keep the freedoms we have. That is why it is so hard to watch what illegal immigration is doing to our country.

We now have millions of people that came here to take and they will never understand the cost of freedom.

  9. I really do, I may take advantage of it sometimes, not really thinking of the many brave people that have fought and died for this great nation.

  10. I do.  And for those who complains, you obviously have been to other countries that don't have the freedom and privilage that we have.

  11. I guess would have to be objective and know historyhow many times has The U.S been attacked, how manytimes has those attacks been provoked ? The Attack on Pearl harbor was provoked, It's sad to say that even 911 was provoked. We live in a society where our Patriotism often Blinds us. The harsh reality is The U.S. is doing some dirty underhanded stuff overseas to people with our tax money. Yes it allows us certain priviledges ; you can drive a gas guzzling SUV, you mall shop till you drop, you caneven own a corporation that deals intransporting illegal Cuban cigars to law makers while they place trade emabargos on the same country. while some people are able to make money buy seeling them U.S. made Dairy products. We are all proud American s we can't be proud of all things we do. We havs had such poor leadership led by rich people interest. When people like the native Hawaiian want emancipation and reparations for what was done by the Dole family , C&H sugar and our military they deserve it

  12. I am now paying over $4 a gallon in gas, and worry that the price of gasoline will go even higher. Some days I wonder how I am going to make it. That's not freedom. I really don't care what sacrifices were made by generations before me. I live in the here and now.

  13. Yes, I definitly appreciate it.......but, let's keep in mind that we are also under this false notion that we think we have the free-est nation in the world.....which is not true. There are other countries out there that are just as free as we are, and in some cases more.

  14. I do, and apparently so do many illegals that come here.  Thanks to all the vets out there.
