  1. 44,000 does not sound right to me...

I believe there are anywhere from 10k to 13k accident fatalities in the US each year from articles I've read...

I would give the NHTSA a call though to get the exact number.

  2. 44,000......Estimate for 2007...............

  3. 40000

  4. not enough... too many ppl on the planet and now we are destroying the rain forests because of too many ppl! Too many ppl NOT paying attention to what they are doing...yapping on cell phones, eating, putting on their face, talking to their kids, ect. thats why ppl die on the road.

  5. 42,000 that would be a rounded amount and I don't have to actual avg., but there might be more some are still filed under missing person because they have not solved that case or whatever. I love law and mysteries.

  6. About 1100% more people were killed in One year on our roads, than our GI's who were killed in 5 years of war.

Didn't hear that at the shehan rally did ya.
