Remember how the American public was promised that Iraqi oil profits would pay for the re-construction of Iraq?

What do you Republicans who scream bloody-murder over Democratic, liberal, tax-and-spend policies have to say about these figures?

U.S. cost of the Iraq war so far: $600 BILLION

Iraq Budget Surplus by End Of Year 2008: $79 BILLION

Iraq Oil Revenue from 2005-2007: $90 BILLION

Iraq's contribution towards it's own reconstruction: $6.7 BILLION

  1. No I don't find it troubling at all. I remember that a Democrat footed the bill for reconstrution after ww2.


  2. No Bush supporters find that troubling.  They think the mission was accomplished and have moved on.
