How many Democrats and Independents will watch the GOP convention?

I'll be watching but not on FOX, the commentary would probably have me wanting to kill someone.

I see Fred Thompson will be speaking this evening in place of Rudy. I can hardly contain my excitement...zzz

I tried but I have learned in life not to be a drama queen. I can't take anymore of this. The stepford wife is up there again. After watching the dems. last week I now feel like  tonight I have died & went to h**l. I have to go to sleep. I almost made it till 10PM.EDIT: she just said Bush kept us safe. What????what happened on 911? now, shrub is on & he is calling the storm Goostoff, it is a name for Gus, so it is Gus-tive people....Oh,know a phoney smile. Darn, I wish there was a liberal channel. I could give the play by play.

I'm watching the MSNBC feed right now.  There's an interesting sax player/flautist on stage, 6-6:30 or so central time.  Anyone know who he is?

I'm interested in watching a fair amount of the convention.  I'm not sure, however, if I have enough painkillers handy to endure Fred Thompson...

I don't suppose that would have anything to do with his interview with Wolfie, where he touted the ticket by saying that Palin can handle the administration of the country, while McCain handled the "furin' stuff"?

Wouldn't miss it (LOL!).  Should provide an evening's worth of entertainment, considering Thompson and woeful Lieberman make every attempt to boost McCain's standing with the audience...and watching on Fox provides instant relief from "thruthiness".

it's mainly a big pep rally anyway...
