How many FPS are played with current Blu-Ray DVDs?

I'm more interested in 1080p... is it 24? 30? 60??

  1. Movie makers use 24p to make there films. So your Blu-Ray DVD's are filmed in 24 FPS. Your player should output 24p but it's has to be modified to fit into your 60Hz or 120hz LCD. Unless you have a newer LCD that can take true 24p without pulldowns.

    It's weird. Movie producers use 24fps. Pal uses 25fps and NTSC uses 30fps. Video games use 30-60fps. Can't we all just get along?
