How many Grams/Ounces do Dwarf lop rabbits need per day?? Rabbit breeders please or anyone who knows a lot!

HI, i breed Dwarf lop rabbits and want to join the BRC and i read loads of books and web pages, and i some books i have read that rabbits only need for Dwarfs 20 gms a day of mix/pellets, which i am trying(by the way they get PLENTY of hay and veg!) and they are a good weight still, but wanted to know what you thought? Rabbit breeders or people who know A LOT about bunnies i want to reply, but anyone is fine to reply! Thanz and PLEASE reply!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Well, I'm not familiar with the metric system, but a quarter cup of food is what I fed my Dwarfs to keep them 2.5lbs.

    Also, don't feed your rabbits many vegetables, since it will give them chronic diarrhea and may ruin their digestive system.  Just stick with the pellets, hay, and sometimes pineapple (it breaks up hairballs).
