No, when it comes to stars taking a stance on anything they have to have been told by a PR person that their stance will make them more popular. Even their charity is based on accumulating more money and influence.

It has been this way since the beginning of time. Even in the Lord Jesus Christ's time, he commented on how the rich gave of their excess in the sight of everyone, and the humble, poor widow who gave her last two mites gave more than any of them.

The stars just want us to like them, with few exceptions. And there are exceptions.

Besides the enormous safety issue, putting a homeless person in your house and offering him/her a job probably won't help them very much anyway.  Over 50% of homeless people have a serious mental illness that needs medication and therapy.  They aren't capable of holding a job or maintaining a residence...that's why they are homeless.  They need real help and there are/were many good programs that go underfunded b/c, well honestly, b/c Bush cut their funding.  At least they have the desire to help.  What are you doing?
