  1. Cute the way you say "STANDARD". Anyway, the most common domesticated camel is the dromedary camel and it has 1 hump. The less common variety, the bactrian camel, has 2 humps. We used to have a mnemonic the D in dromedary has one curve (hump) and the B in bactrian has 2 curves (humps).


  2. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "standard".

    There are two varieties of camels in the world. The first variety of camel is called Bactrian and it has two humps. This camel is mostly seen in Asia and travels the Gobi desert. The other variety of camel is the Dromedary and it has only one hump. This camel is the one usually most people see in pictures as it crosses the Sahara Desert. And, just for a fun fact, the hump is not filled with water like most people believe, but it is filled with fat which gives the camel energy to sustain itself in those harsh desert climates.

  3. theres no such thing as a standard camel. there's asian camels, with 2 humps. african camels have 1.
