  1. its about 1000

  2. 1024 Mb's are in one GB (It is not a straight 1000, a lot of people think it is)

  3. 1024.

There are 8 bits in a byte, there are 1024 bytes in a Kilobytes, there are 1024 KB in a Megabyte, and there are 1024 MB in a Gigabyte.

  4. 1024 MiB in one GiB.

    1000 MB in one GB.

It's kinda annoying, figure out which one you want. For hard drive manufacturers, it's usually the 1000, because they can put less actual space for a nice and round advertised number.

For amounts of RAM, it's usually the standard powers of 2 amounts, like 128, 512, and 1GB is actually 1GiB...

    2^10 = KiB (1024B)

    2^20 = MiB (1024KiB)

    2^30 = GiB (1024 MiB)

etc etc... It's all very misleading and confusing. I'd go with 1024 if this question is for a serious computer class, but you can use 1000 as an approximate or somehow justify it.
