  1. 13-16?

  2. 5

  3. About 4 to 6, depending on the track.  Which if you think about it, isn't that bad for 200mph!

  4. on one of the shows that has an "over the wall" feature with a crew member this past weekend, it was mentioned that at most tracks, they get about 4.7 miles per gallon. i'm guessing that was "at most tracks like michigan" - intermediate to long tracks. but from what i've heard during races, that seems about right. considering that most "fuel runs" are about 80 miles and the fuel cells are 18.5 gallons, that would mean right about 4.324 miles/gallon, when running full speed. supposedly they get about twice that when running under caution, so about 8-9 gallons/mile under yellow.

  5. They can usually get about 3-4 miles a gallon. I figured this based on they announcers always saying that at the 1.5 miles tracks, they can get about 2 laps per gallon.

  6. 2-3 depends on track and gear size

  7. I'm with the majority on this one it depends on the track but around 4!

  8. At Michigan they said the were getting about 4MPG. It differs from track to track but somewhere around 4mpg.

  9. I don't have a clue, so I'm going with Dave.  I know Dave is right, he's a very smart man!

  10. 4 to 5 MPG.

  11. About 4

  12. around 4 depending on track and gear ratios they run...and depending on what size carb they run, some teams run smaller ones to get better gas milage at some tracks but they turn less HP...Roush tried runnin smaller carb  at watkens glen hoping they could win on fuel milage

  13. On the lower end it is around 3 1/2 miles per gallon but they can stretch it to almost 5, maybe even a little more, if they don't drive the car very hard.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  14. it is always different by the body stile, track, speed, horse power, weight, down force, and driver but most of the time they usually get around 2 miles to a gallon

  15. our fords get more miles per tank than any of those other cars, especially them little ferrin' rice burners. i didn't say more miles per gallon, so you figure it out sherlock.

  16. The average is around 3-4 MPG, it really depends on the track, more braking or less, etc.

  17. now multiply that by about $8.00 per gallon!!
