All clubs have Glory Hunters especially big clubs, but United seem to get the unfair reputation of having the most. We could all say that most of Liverpool's support comes from Ireland of Wales because of the amount of supporters who go to Anfield from there( and Anfield only holds 45,000 remember), but it seems to be the Liverpool fans and the other fans from London who make the biggest deal about United fans who aren't from Manchester. The fact is that other fans are jealous of United because they are the biggest and best and will use anything to get at them.

Around the world, there must be MILLIONS, of these misguided fools, but, - in Manchester, itself, - there are relatively, few. The fact IS, that MOST real Mancunians are not "BANDWAGON JUMPERS" or "GLORY HOUNDS", - thus, they support the only Club, IN Manchester, - CITY!!!

Some strange ansers here-if there are around 2.5 million people in the Greater Manchester, I think we can safely say there are more than 50000 United fans in Manchester. And tammipup has obviously never even been to Manchester-are you referring to the same Manchester City who got 3007 people watching them in 1998 vs Mansfield?

When the fuel strike was on in 2000, nobody was driving anywhere cos the filling stations were dry. That week, United got their biggest gate of the season against those legendary crowd pullers Wimbledon. So the glory hunters walked up from Surrey did they?

The fact is that like any successful club they get their bandwagon jumpers, and their marketing machine is better than most at generating revenue in places like the far east. Still, I defy anyone here to walk around Old Trafford on a matchday asking people if they are gloryhunters. The good people of Salford aren't kindly disposed towards fools...
