I don't really understand the question but I guess it's supposed to be a joke. I thought a maverick was a stray cow on a cattle drive, or is it a wild horse?

Since this is in the water sports section, I'd say there is only one,  Mavericks.  Half Moon Bay, California.  As far as the basketball team, that was pretty pathetic wasn't it?  Golden State will be lucky to get out of the next round however, but hats off to them for putting Mark Cuban and company down.  Lesson learned, most wins during regular season, doesn't equal NBA championship.  Lookout for the boring Spurs sleeper.
