How many Mexican pesos would one have to?

have to be considered wealthy in Mexico? I know the conversion rate is 10 to 1, but what is considered "rich" in Mexico?

  1. you have no idea how mucho millions of dollars those drug cartels get, they basacly wipe their asses whith money,  but i dont support drugs or cartels and i think mexico gov should get rid of them.


  2. The minimum wage in Mexico is, at it's highest, 51 pesos a day, and remember, that varies depending on what "zone" you  live in. That's about $5.10 a day , so considering that most states in the U.S have a minim wage of $6.00 AN HOUR, that person would be considered, "upper middle class" in Mexico. Now, off course , like in any part of the world, to be considered wealth or rich you would have to have a salary of a large amount of money. In Mexico though, with a salary of at least $5,000 a month, your bound to have a big house and nice things. Doesn't really matter now though because the dollar is weaking and 10 pesos isn't really worth much in mexico,   an ipod for example costs $5,000 PESOS, around $500.00
