How many Pictures can a 2G memory card hold if the camera is 8 MP?

I have a 8.2 MP Casio camera and i'm getting a memory card for it but i don't know how much the 2 G holds. Any Help?

What card do you have now?  If it is a 512 mb, then just multiply what that card holds by 4 .

Well. First of all, your battery will die before you can fill the card up. I want to say at least 200+ at a near highest resolution. Why would you like to know if i might ask? I always recommend transfering any pictures back onto the computer.

2GB is plenty of capacity. You will be able to shoot approx. 380 high quality (8M) images...or up to an hour of high quality (HQ) movies.

Make sure you Format it before you use it the first time  (check your user manual on how to do this)...and you should also Format it everytime you need to delete ALL images in one go.
