How many U.S States were part of the Mexican Nation before 1848 ?

I mean the Viceroyality of New Spain, Alta California, Texas, Aztlan or Mexican Empire.

  1. NONE

    there was some territory in the area now called Texas and California,  but they were not states.


  2. Virtually all of California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, along with parts of Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, and much of Texas are on land which used to be part of Mexico.

    And, of course, ALL of these places, including Mexico, belonged to other people long before that.  Boohoo, it's history now.

  6. These areas you speak of had around 30,000 total inhabitants at the time the US aquired them, most were not even Mexicans.
