How many UK citizens have visited US before?

It may not have official data, based on your experience, guess how much? 10%,or 30%, or 50% have visited US before?

What part of US is favorite? east coast or west coast?

There is official data on this. According to the US Department of Homeland Security, 6.5 million UK citizens visit the United States every year.

Now, given that the population of the UK is 60.5 million people, that means over 10% of the population will visit the United States in 2008 alone - never mind those who visited in 2007, 2006, 2005, etc!

So at a guess, I would say maybe 50% of the population has visited the US before. I am sure the percentage is a lot higher among younger people - probably 80% of the people I know have been to the US at some point in their lives.

Most popular destinations: Florida, New York City, Las Vegas.

I would say at the highest 20%, I think most Brtons visit Disneyworld in Florida, I remeber reading that somewhere that is the number one destination for them
