How many acres of land do you need to make a powerful country?

America has 2.3 Billion Acres, The United Kingdom has 59 Million, 698 Thousand.

One Acre of land is extremely expensive, let alone millions or billions. A rich country has a big airport around 300 Acres, Houses, Schools, Emergency Services etcetera, etcetera.

So how could someone with about 500,000£ or 990,000$, make a country, powerful and known across the worlds most strongest nations like America, Britain, Russia, China, France etc?

all you have to do to have a powerful country is have money and nuclear weapons, no one will mess with you then :)

It does not matter how much land you have there are many factors.

Vatican City is a powerful country of 110 acres.

That amount of money wouldn't do anything to make a country not already powerful, so.  There are many factors--some areas like Vatican as pointed out, are rich in their cultural assets.  Luxembourg is rich and small because of its tax laws.  Nigeria is rich in resources and squanders them so it is poor.  Sudan is rich in resources but chooses to kill its own people, impoverishing it morally.  

So if you have all this money give it to an agency that can make a difference in a poor country willing to increase the wealth of ALL its people.
