How many adoptee's found other (a) family members less than kind ?

Question

Did you have grandparents who treated you differently than their bio grandchildren?

How did you cope and did your adoptive parents (or other afamily members) stick up for you?

Yes, my grandmother was less than kind.. but i think it had more to do with my father "marrying beneath him" than with the adoption per se.  

She despised my mom... and it ran over onto my sister and me both.  (My sister is their bio kid.)

I am very lucky because my family treats my adopted son the same as they do my bio-children. My middle (bio) son sometimes feel that they favor the adopted child, but I just think that is more of a sibling rivalry thing.
