You dont state if you want to know how many ancestors were African/ Black which is impossible because humans have been around over 160,000 years.

If you meant how many were African/ Black but in the Americas it is easier but a hard answer as she is mixed with Native American and East Asian and the numbers change if the inter relationships were in the beginning or the end.

My answer is just going to be 83% African ancestors

I saw a PBS program called "Finding Oprah's Roots."  Through DNA testing and traditional genealogical research, they discovered that she had no white ancestors... so, all of her ancestors are African.  Her maternal line descends from the Kpelle tribe of Liberia and Guinea.  It was an interesting show!  They had it at my local video store.
