How many aluminum cans make a pound... I just started recycling?

I have quite alot of cans built of and am getting ready to go to recycling and was wondering how many make a pound

LOL.....with all the different answers you got on how many cans equals one pound, you'd be bagging all different numbers.  I suggest that you look up the recycle center you intend to turn them into (or one in your area) and just give them a call.  I would imagine that the cans vs pds. these people are advising you is coming from their area.  Each measing machine may  be uncalibated (not correctly weighted) or other things like longer almunimun cans (like the asian tea's come in).  You they may not be wrong, not any of them but it'd still go with call your local recycle center and see what THEY pay.  Good luck!  Kinda funny too, I gotta go take my stuff sometime this week too and it'll be my first time too.  I'm put it off too long....lol

I'm not exactly sure, and I wouldn't want to give you the wrong answer. - But there is a place in Pomona Park that gives 60 cents per pound.
