  1. power gain

    +db gain=10*log(p2/p1)

    +db gain=10*log(2000/600)

    5.228 db

    ------

    v=i*r

    p=i^2*r

    ----------

    89=i*4

    2000/4=500

    ---------------

    89 volts RMS @ 23.36 amps into 4 ohms for 2000 watts

  2. just one amp that is 2000 watts

    you can use 2 1000s, but you are going to spend more

    it also depends on the brand of the sub if they are a good brand i am guessing it has an rms of about 800-1000 so make sure you buy a good amp, not a cheap one that has about 900 watts rms at 4 ohms

  3. approx  2000*1.414/12 Peak

  4. info needed to match an amp to subs

    the subs RMS wattage (not peak/max, they mean nothing)

    the subs setup (DVC or SVC, voice coils)

    the subs impedance (ohms)

    you need to match RMS wattage's at the correct impedance (ohms)
