How many applications do I have to hand in for a job at chain stores?

Take Starbucks for example, where they have a store practically on every corner. Do I only have to apply at one and then get put in the computer for all of them? Or should I apply at every single one?

If you apply to one, they usually send the application to the other chains if they don't have any openings. I have filled an app out for Starbucks twice, and both times they told me a Starbucks in a different town would hire me. Go to the one you would like to work at the most, then they will let you know the deal. They are all connected and if they don't need you they will definitely pass you on, if you are qualified.
