How many apps can an 8GB Ipod touch hold?

Can an 8GB Ipod Touch hold more than 40 apps? Im thinking about getting one and im not sure how many it can hold. I dont really care about the size of the apps,i just need the max it can hold. I just need an estimate thx.

the ipod touch can have 9 pages on the springboard so 9*16(each page) = 144 apps !!!!

and there's an app named categories (release soon) so you can put your apps onto folders so you can have unlimited apps.

just install them and enjoy

the appstore have more than 1000 apps increasing everyday like 20-30 app per day so don't worry about the number ...

Mr.down has hit the head on the nail. Memory will never be a problem because the Apps rarely ever reach a single Megabyte!

EDIT: iPod Nano cannot run Apps from the App store, only games that are made for the iPod, and not the Touch or iPhone.

A nano can not run apps. Only the Touch and the iPhone can run apps.
