It depends on what you sacrifice. The monsters you sacrifice DEF and ATK is added up to equal his DEF and ATK ( as normal DEF goes to Ra's DEF and ATK goes to Ra's ATK) and plus if you add life points to Ra his ATK and DEF can increase by how much you're willing to pay.
