  1. It always depends on the hamster mother on how many baby she has. A litter can be very small, about 2-3, but it can also be very big, ranging from 12-16 or so. The more babies there are, the higher the mortality rate will be. Luckily, a usual litter ranges from about 4 to 6 pups.

  2. First, make sure you have places for the baby hamsters BEFORE you start.

Mine have had anywhere from 4-7 babies.

Dwarf hamsters do better in pairs, so pick ONE male for your female. You'll need several more cages--one for the pair and then more for the babies. Just make sure you research it before you do anything you'll regret later on.

  3. DO NOT BREED YOU HAMSTERS WITH OUT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

It takes years until you kno your ready for breeding I've had hamsters for years and I still don't think I'm ready.

  4. mine had 18 (not in the same litter) i think in her first litter there was 6 or 7, i cant remember as it was that long ago

  5. Don't do it.

    Just don't.

You are going to become an irreponsible backyard breeder.

They have BIG litters and often eat their young. The young hamsters will also need seperate cages to the parents. You will also need a spare cage for the males. You also can't put ONE female in with two males- they'll fight to the death over her, literally!

  6. it depends if the hamster is a horny little thing =D maybe it wants to knock up the girl every night!

  7. 4-6 usually mabe more

i am also breeding but they syrians

good luck if you do breed them

  8. Average litter is 4 -6 young .
