How many baby beardies can i house in a 40 gallon tank when they just hatch?

the tank is an exo terra terranium its approx 60cmx40cmx60cm? my friends beardie appears pregnant like theres marbles in her stomach lol but he doesnt know if they have been fertilised. hes worried about not being able to affored to house the babies if there born so i offered to lend him my terranium untill he can get rid of them but he doesnt know if its safe to keep them all in the same tank? in pet shops ive seen upto 20 beardies in a small 10 gallon tank? is this ok?

  1. well at the petstore is animal abuse jam packing them like that.

    Well up to 6 babies in a 40 gallon is ok for up to a year, but keep in mind they will grow! Yeah but i dont think the female would have that many babies, she'd have like 3 or 4. They can live like that for about a year, before having to be separated.

Well to start off,beardies can have from 10-frigen like 30+ eggs which could be a problem if his beardie is actually pergnant.So the thing he should do is just ask him to go to any warehouse store like appliances for houses and stuff and get 1-4 large tubs for putting clothing and other stuff in like thoes big plastic box/bins.

    So then you wont have to lend him your terranium!
