They have 1 or 2 fawns in the spring, i have seen multiple twins this summer

Baby deer are called fawns.  In North America white-tailed deer usually have 2 fawn.  However young does often have one.  Sometimes a doe will have 3.

Too many. Deer have eaten the tops out of all our tomato plants, and we will have no tomatoes this summer. Next year we are going to plant habanera peppers.
