If you are flying on a us carrier, you can bring one bag on with you and check in one bag. You will be charged if you check in more than one bag.

General limit is two carry-on, nothing bulky or suspicious ( naturally!). If it is medical needs, ask about exemption.

It varies by country and airline, but typically you can bring one largish bag limited to the size of the roller suitcases that many travellers (including me) have, and a smaller purse or briefcase.

For a while the UK limited you to one bag, but they're back to two.
