  1. you are usually allowed 20kg per person. This can be as many bags as you like!

They don't weigh hand luggage but it has to be small enough to fit in the overhead storage.

You can usually have 2 hand luggage bags.

you can also pay to take additional baggage- usually about £10 per bag but it can be more depending on the airline.

When you book a flight they will give you all this info.

  2. Airlines now have different policies.  Several are now charging for your first piece of checked luggage, up to 50lbs.  That fee is $15.  For baggage over 50lbs, and for an additional piece of luggage, you usually have to pay $25-50 depending on the airline.

Southwest still allows you to check 2 pieces for no charge, up to 50lbs each.

You can usually bring one carry-on and a personal item, such as a purse or briefcase, on board with you.  The carry-on must be able to fit in the overhead bins.  They are starting to crack down on carry-on size because of the charges for checked baggage, so make sure yours isn't too big.

  3. Its depends on Airlines to Airlines baggage policy. It's better to check baggage policy of that Airlines on website or you can directly contact over phone.
