Well It depends on How fast you want to go, for slow rowing style id go for 3 Bananas and 1 Coconut for buoyancy, for the faster thrill id go with 8.5 Bananas   25 grains of sand mixed with 11% Fresh  water and 16%Shark scales. and hold on your in for the ride of a lifetime. OR NOT
