  1. it is actually the Russian the ones that have been at this for a while, provoking the Georgians and trying to take those territories away from the Georgians months ago, it is just that you people were NOT paying attention:

Georgian drone has been shot down by Russia MIG-29

  2. Georgians are hot tempered people , he could have  been lured by a provocation.

  3. i have been thinking and analyzing on why Georgia made such a stupid move and why USA allowed that?! i have asked many questions in this regard, you may want to refer to them.

i finally concluded that all this was done in order to restart another cold war and continue the arms race. that is where the money is!

1500 innocent and defenseless people died and they IE; CIA and Pentagon will some how justify this terrorist action. the end justifies the means!

  4. The only people telling this story are Russians. Leaves some room for doubt.

  5. The Georgian President was only following his orders from Washington.

  6. haha that question is like how many believe the US knew there were no WMD's in Iraq. Of course they knew. But regardless it was stupid of the Georgian President to do so even if the US knew about it so i guess it is possible the guy acted alone. In which case you get what you got coming and that might mean Russian occupation.

  7. Unfortunately a lot. Sometimes I think it's laughable, other times sad so many eat up their sides propaganda without question but the fact remains they do in large numbers.

"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that." —George Carlin

"The Bush administration has maintained, in a series of leaks to the US media, that it sought to restrain Saakashvili from attacking the pro-Russian enclaves of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and that the Georgian president ignored its advice. This version of events is entirely unbelievable, given the integration of US military advisers into the Georgian military command."

  8. Yes, apparently he would.  I understand Condi in her previous visit had warned him against reacting to Russian provocation.  He assessed both the Russian reaction and the U.S. reaction wrong.  At some point after the campaign rhetoric has died down, we need to determine whether its in our interest to surround Russia with missles or to seek a partnership for peace and prosperity on the globe.
