  2. Can't answer the first, but there are lots of Americans, Germans, and Chinese, from the south here.

  3. Well, that is a tricky question. Knowing exactly how many babies are born and how many deaths there are every year is not known since there are places in the country where people do not get counted into the population for reasons like they live in the jungle or in very poor areas and they give birth at home, etc. But there is a graph with an estimation of deaths in Peru every year: http://www.indexmundi.com/g/g.aspx?c=pe&...

In this link you can find a graph with the numbers of births per year:

When it comes to ethnicity, the majority are Amerindian, and mixed between amerindian and Spanish.

But also many decendents from the African slaves (mostly mixed with other races) who where brought to Peru when Peru became a Spanish colony, 5% of the population of Peru is of African descent.

European decent is also big, many from Germany, Italy and Spain.

The Japanese-Peruvian population in Peru is the second largest ethnic Japanese population in Latin America after Brazil. They count for approximately 3% of the total population of Peru.

Another Asian decendent population is the Chinese-Peruvian who count for 2% of the Peruvian population.

There are also many other minority races, like my own "peruvian-swedish" :-)

    Hope this help :)
