Question:

How many blacks were killed by other blacks while Sharpton held his Don Imus lynching?

I was watching a show last night on National Geographic about gang violence in L.A., where blacks kill other blacks, and it got me to thinking: Does Al Sharpton (and any other race pimp similarly situated) really care about the "black community"? Blacks are killing each other and the best use of his time is a PR campaign lynching a fossilized, washed up radio host?

  1. I'm not a Sharpton fan.  I DO believe that the Afro American community has a lot of problems simply because of the lingering effects of racism.  Sharpton is angry and he shows it and his energy may not be in the right place, but on the other hand, he's doing something to prevent Don Imus/Michael Richardson incidences.

  2. There are people who profit from keeping people aware of their color difference instead of realizing inside everyone is the same.  Al Sharpton is one of those people.

  3. "I was watching a show last night on National Geographic about gang violence in L.A., where blacks kill other blacks ..... Blacks are killing each other..."

This kind of ignorance would be amusing if it weren't clear that you're trying to be serious.

There's more to "the black community" than shows about gang members that you watch, wide-eyed, from your living room. Go out and meet them. We have a black Supreme Court Justice, a black Secretary of State, myriad black politicians and respectable black leaders, lawyers, doctors and Good Human Beings.

    Broaden your horizons a tidge.
