  1. 2, 1 Silver or Gold and 1 Plain steel. The precious metal can be either but there is a reason to choose the metal (can' t remember).

    Its the last and lynch pin to go in. Usually a local dignitary is asked to place it in so it needs to be a bolt. The second plain one is used to go in place of the precious one after the ceremony as this is then moved to a secret location on the bridge by the Chief Engineer so it doesn't get stolen but still remains part of the bridge
