How many books do you own?

I mean books that are age-appropriate. For example, if you still own "Hop on Pop", then that doesn't count.

just got through counting my own. i have 243.

I've never counted so I can't give an exact number but they're everywhere.

Two bookshelves full from top to bottom, on the shelves in my closet, on the floor by my bed, under my bed, in boxes, and then there's more at my dad's house.

I read alot.

Just guessing between 300-400 as i have never counted. Some are still in boxes from last move.

About 200. I have a bookcase (4 shelf), boxes, shelves, drawers. I love reading and buying books!

1,843 according to my records. YES, I have MicroSoft Access files for my books, CD's, DVD's, etc...

1732 are paper-backs, 96 are hard-back (mostly history & political), 11 are cookbooks, and the last 4 are US Navy Cruise books.

Gee I thought the internet would give me a paperless household !!

Those numbers do NOT include the books of my Wife, two daughters, nor my grandson (Dr Suess lover).
