How many calories do slushies have. You know, the kind you can get at Quick Trip. I usually go to QT or other places and get them about 4 times a week. How many calories do they have?

here's how you make a slushie. freeze water into crystals, dump them into one of those rolling tank things with a little more water, throw in a whole crapload of concentrated flavour syrup (read: sugar, sugar, artificial flavouring, MORE SUGAR).

the answer? LOTS. once a week at the MOST is okay. if you're curious about the exact number, check their website or ask for a nutrition guide if it's available. depending on where you live, they may be forced to make one available to you.

slushies are empty calories. that is, they have lots of calories and little/no nutritional value (ie, no vitamins, protein, fat, complex carbs, minerals, etc.). That and they actually destabilize your insuline levels and encourage your body to increase its fat stores.

Bottom line: I wouldn't (and don't) drink them. Ditto to pop and energy drinks.
