Question:

How many calories should I consume daily...?

I am 20, small frame, 9 st 4lbs, 5ft 2" and moderately active.

I ask because food packages say that a woman should eat 2000kcals per day but I feel I need slightly less than this.

Any answers appreciated.

  1. A typical female should eat no less than 1400 cals in a day and no more than 2000 cals.  if one is dieting then they should eat NO less than 1200.


  2. drink 1 litre of mint tea every day

Depends on how much exercise you get, I mean I walk around 4-6 miles a day, so that burns of around 500 calories, so even 2,500c (men) for me would only be 2,000.  So if I had 500 less calories that would be 1,500 and that would be a lot less than I need.  I actually exercise, play football and other sports on top of this so I try and eat a lot more, i'm 5ft7 and am just under 10st, which gives me an average BMI and I just try and maintain this weight.

    I'm fast and and quite strong, so if you feel good at the moment, just keep doing what is you are doing now, but if you feel that you need to lose it, just lose a little, not a lot.


  4. Yea 2,000 calories is the recommended daily amount for women.

    However if you feel you need to eat less,just eat around 1,500 maybe.

    500 calories shouldn't be that big of a difference.

  7. Eat as much as you like. If you start piling it on - cut down on the fat
