  1. You would have to eat a whole lot!  Plus you would actually turn an orange tinge.  I am not kidding.  People who eat nothing but carrots can get a condition where they literally turn orange.

Carrots are healthy, but they are not a miracle vegetable.

  2. Although it was made up by the RAF, I recently watched something that proved that there was some truth in the matter. Sorry though I don't know how many you'd need to eat. If you have bad eyesight, just wear glasses.

  3. Just 1 per day.

  4. More then you would want.

I think you'd be wasting your time

and I think that it wouldn't really help that much.

If your having probs with your eyes, see an eye doctor of course.

  5. 600000000000000000000000000000000

  6. I don't know, but I think people say that(like parents and teachers) to get you to eat more veggies. When the eye doctor told me I would need glasses I didn't once hear him say, "One thing you that will help you see better, is eating more carrots."

  7. It's not going to work unless you have a vision disorder caused by a deficiency of vitamin A and only if the problem is not severe enough to cause any permanent damage.

  8. It wouldn't help if you ate 10LBS per day. Carrot consumption and eyesight are not linked.

  9. 7 hundred thousand .. way easier to take a pill ..

  10. Carrots do not actually improve your eyesight. The link between carrots and eyesight is not true, it was made up by the RAF during the second world war.

The British Airforce had created a radar system to identify enemy bombers before they reached English soil, but they did not want the Germans to find out about this new technology, so they had to create a plausible sounding reason for why so many bombers were being shot down all of a sudden. They claimed that the pilots could all see very well because they ate a lot of carrots, a root vegetable which was commonly available in Britain.

Many people began eating carrots, believing that they would be able to see in the dark, which would help during blackouts.

  11. Carrots help your night vision since they contain vitamin A. They will not improve your vision unless your severely deficient in vitamin A. We only see vitamin A deficiency in third world countries, in people who are close to starvation.
