  1. The general rule for carry-ons is that your bag must be no larger than 45 linear inches (add up the length+width+height) and shouldn't weight more than 40 pounds (just in case your bag needs to go in the bins overhead - make sure you can lift it easily). You may have one larger bag (carry-on suitcase, duffel bag, backpack, etc.) and one smaller bag (purse, laptop case, etc.).

Again, the general allowance for checked luggage is that it should be no larger than 62 linear inches, and can weight no more than 50 pounds. Some airlines will allow you to check one bag for free, some will allow you to check two for free, others charge a fee for the first checked bag.

Check your airline's website for the most complete details and dimensions - I think your backpack and laptop case will be fine.

    Have a great trip!

  2. you can bring a bag, like a back pack or a small suitcase, im not sure what the sizes are i know there is a 50 lb limit but i think  thats on check in baggage

anyway most people dont realize this but you can take a fairly big sized carry on and a good sized purse (Which can be filled a laptop or something) and you can bring multiple bags underneath but it costs alotta money after a while

also becareful with your weight and stuff, im sure if you google delta or w/e airline ur traveling with and u can find their official site and they'll have the guidlines on there. but be careful with your suitcase weight b/c many airlines are cracking down on overweight bags this year

safe travels!!! i hope u have a great time! and not such a bad flight, i had a couple of those this year :P lol

:D(im ur fan, 4 real check ur profile :))

  3. you are allowed one carry on luggage and one additional bag (i.e. purse or laptop) as long as the second peice with fit under your seat.  For exact dimensions check the website for the airline you are flying with.
