Of all the cars on the road how many of them are hybrid cars?

there are 5000 cars manufactured in the us daily.as the us is manufacturing cars for 160 years the ratio for cars is 1:4 that means 1 in 4 adults have a car.so the number of cars is nearly 1 billion.about 10-15 million cars are hybrid.

Most cars get recycled within 10 years. There are only 800 million cars worldwide. And about half of them  are in the US. Hybrids are only a small percentage of that, maybe 4-5 million.
